A real estate management firm in Stamford CT decided, after consulting with an architect, to eliminate some of the massive concrete cross beams in the lobby of one of the buildings they manage. Reducing the number of beams opened up the space to more natural light and gave a more modern feel to a dated reception area. The only problem was the gaping holes that were left by the removal process. We were called in to evaluate the situation and come up with a solution. We suggested custom lighting on stainless steel panels that would tie the entire space together with a unique detail and provide a beautiful source of light at night.
